DESCRIPTION:Organisation: Mid Dorset Primary Care Network \nIf you care for someone\, you’re welcome to drop in and take a break. The Dorchester Carers Nook runs on the second Wednesday of every month\, 10:00–12:00 at Dorchester Connect Day Centre\, Acland Rd\, Dorchester\, DT1 1SH. \nYou can relax in the Carer Café\, meet other carers\, and share experiences in a friendly space. Local organisations are on hand with clear information and practical advice. You’ll find support from social prescribers\, PCN staff\, and long-term condition coordinators. \nWhile you’re here\, your cared-for person can join supervised activities at the day centre. These sessions need to be booked in advance and places are limited to 10 each month. Activities are free.
