This might be working on a leaflet or telling their colleagues about health literacy.<\/li>\n<li>Champions at DCH are involved in the review of Patient Information Leaflets produced by staff.<\/li>\n<li>Champions have also been involved in helping write a Communications with Patients Policy for the Trust which includes guidance on health literacy for staff producing or communicating information to patients (i.e. everyone!)<\/li>\n<li>We held a study day in September 2024 &#8211; Health literacy was high on the agenda &#8211; with champions exploring the use of Forum Theatre to learn the importance of health literacy.<\/li>\n<li>Health literacy awareness sessions prove popular and score a whooping 4.8\/5!<\/li>\n<li>Trained more than 450 members of staff\/students across the Trust (since 2021).
