NHS Dorset’s Only Order What You Need campaign has scooped an HSJ award, coming first in the Medicines, Pharmacy and Prescribing Initiative of the Year category.
The campaign which has helped prevent wasteful spending of £500,000 on prescriptions was announced winner at an award ceremony which was hosted by comedian Dara O’ Briain with an address from Health and social care secretary Wes Streeting.
