Loading Events

Are you interested in developing your skills in project management? If so, we invite you to join our upcoming cohort in September 2025.

The course runs virtually via Teams, for 5 weeks each Wednesday from 09:30-11:30, commencing Wednesday 10th September 2025.

PM Lite is an introductory course to project management and is aimed at individuals who are new to project management or those who are looking to refresh their knowledge. This training has been designed by experienced experts from across ‘Our Dorset.’

It focuses on providing the relevant tools and knowledge to help those delivering projects or transformation within health and social care across the system. The course is open to any ‘Our Dorset’ staff across the system.

PM Lite has been designed around the Project Management competency framework.

This consists of twelve competencies based around outcomes that project professionals within ‘Our Dorset’ should strive to achieve.

Each competency includes a description of behaviours, skills and knowledge expected at different levels of project management within ‘Our Dorset’.

Before the course we ask that you complete the self-assessment tool.

This is a helpful way for you to better understand your own behaviours within project management and highlight your areas of strength as well as priorities for development.

It encourages you to think about which competencies are particularly important for your role and organisation, as well as your level of knowledge and experience to inform your development plans.

If you are interested and would like to participate in the PM Lite course please complete our registration form here.
