The Business Analysts’ role is to understand the needs of the organisation and facilitate solutions for associated problems and opportunities.

The Business Analysts Team operates across all levels of change in the organisation; from mission and objectives, through strategic priorities and down to solution delivery via projects.

The team provides a range of agile, flexible, and adaptable business analysis support for projects and programmes across the entire change/transformation lifecycle, eg:

  • Strategic Analysis

  • Root Cause Analysis

  • Capability Modelling (what is done)

  • As-is Analysis (how things are done)

  • To-Be Analysis (how things will be done)

  • Gap Analysis (the space between ‘where we are’ and ‘where we want to be’)

  • Process Modelling

  • Data Definition and Analysis

  • Requirements Elicitation and Definition

  • Solution Design

  • Option Appraisals and Recommendations

  • Liaison between different Business/Technical disciplines

  • Test Planning and Testing

  • Implementation Support

  • Benefits Realisation Analysis
