This case study reports on the development of a bespoke change training offer, tailored to the Fulfilled Lives programme within BCP Council Adult Social Care.

The Fulfilled Lives programme within BCP Council Adult Social Care was established to help deliver sustained transformational change aligned to the strategic vision of ‘supporting people to achieve a fulfilled life, in the way that they choose, and in a place where they feel safe’.

As part of delivering such a significant and large-scale change programme, the programme team identified that specific challenges were being experienced, such as change fatigue in the social care workforce, certain skills and knowledge gaps, and some cultural differences.

Through discussions, it was agreed that a bespoke change training offer would help to address many of these challenges. This case study reports on the how this training was developed and delivered, together with reflections on enablers, key challenges, learning and impact.
