The Dorset Innovation Hub was established as one of four Health Foundation Innovation Hubs across the UK and is hosted by NHS Dorset. Built on a unique partnership of organisations spanning health and care, academia, research, industry, economic development, and patient and public involvement, the Hub was created to support the adoption of innovation across Dorset’s health and care system.
Today, the Hub acts as a collaborative network, bringing partners together to identify challenges, share expertise, and accelerate the adoption of innovations that improve outcomes for patients, service users, and staff. By combining diverse perspectives and experience, we help ensure that innovation is shaped around local needs and can be successfully implemented and sustained.
Our approach is rooted in collaboration, co-production, and system-wide working, creating the conditions for innovation to thrive across Dorset’s Integrated Care System.
Our mission: “We support and sustain the adoption of the world’s best health and care innovations for the benefit of all citizens of Dorset”
In this short video, we explain who we are, what we do, and how our partnership approach helps turn innovative ideas into real-world solutions that benefit people across Dorset.
