The vision is clear: a seamless, inclusive, and future‑ready digital ecosystem that improves outcomes for Dorset’s 810,000 residents.
What the Strategy Aims to Achieve:
- A joined‑up digital experience for staff and patients, supported by secure, integrated systems
- National digital leadership, positioning Dorset as a pioneer within the NHS
- Reduced health inequalities, using digital tools to improve access for rural and ageing communities
- Shared digital priorities across all partners, ensuring interoperability and long‑term investment

- Integrated digital records and reduced reliance on paper
- Strong, collaborative digital governance
- Better digital access for citizens through tools like the NHS App
- Modern, secure infrastructure and enhanced cybersecurity
- Improved data sharing to support proactive, evidence‑based care

Looking ahead co‑designed with digital, clinical, and operational leaders, the strategy aligns with national NHS priorities and includes clear KPIs to track progress through to 2031.
