Katherine began her career working in project and relationship management roles in both environment and sustainability and economic development. Before joining the NHS in September 2019, she worked for the Dorset Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) where Katherine managed the £98.5m Dorset Local Growth Fund, alongside the governance and financial management.
Katherine’s current role within NHS Dorset Integrated Care Board (ICB) is Inward Investment Manager. Working in collaboration with people across Dorset Integrated Care System (ICS) research, innovation, digital and commissioning; she is responsible for a team who develop funding applications and business cases, for projects and programmes, which will support the delivery of the 5-year forward plan. Alongside exploring different ways for investment to flow into Dorset and increasing our partnerships with investors.
Over the last 3 years the inward investment team has been integral to the successful investment of £85.9m into Dorset ICS, including projects such as Community Diagnostic Centre and Remote monitoring of hypertension (BP@Home) business cases.
