Sandra joined the Dorset Innovation Hub in January 2022 as Innovations Project Manager.

Prior to joining the hub, Sandra worked as part of the Clinical Audit team at University Hospitals Dorset as Clinical Audit & Effectiveness Manager (Poole site).  Sandra’s role within the quality sphere is complemented by an interest in healthcare research, having previously worked as part of research teams at Bournemouth University (BU) and Poole hospital (PH). Previous research activity includes a collaborative project with Salisbury hospital examining the prevalence and patterns of anxiety in surgical patients (BU), and an evaluation of the use of near real-time patient feedback for making improvements to the patients’ experiences of the relational aspects of care (PH) (coordinated by Picker Institute Europe).
