I work as Project Manager and Quality Improvement (QI) Lead as part of the Transformation & Improvement Team at Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (DCH). I joined the Trust in 2011, having previously worked for many years as a teacher in a trilingual private school in Frankfurt, Germany. My NHS experience spans across many different departments within the acute hospital setting as well as across Dorset with Dorset system partners, delivering a variety of transformative change projects.

I have a passion for quality improvement and am particularly interested in utilising the quality improvement methodology to improve the quality of care for patients. I am a Health Foundation Q Community member and accredited NHSE Quality Service Improvement and Redesign (QSIR) Associate. I highly enjoy providing staff with the skills, capabilities and confidence to drive the change they would like to see in their own area of work.

I was delighted to join the Dorset Innovation Hub, as part of the core team, to support the adoption of innovations across Dorset and be part of this systems approach. This aligns particularly well with our Quality Improvement strategy and my role as Quality, Service Improvement Redesign (QSIR) lead at DCH. I am enjoying working with the Dorset Innovation Hub team and am looking forward to supporting local teams with implementing their innovation projects.
