Join Swanage and Purbeck Development Trust for a friendly, informal coffee morning to mark Carers Rights Day 2026.
Whether you’re caring for a family member, friend or neighbour, this is a chance to take some time for yourself, meet other carers and enjoy a relaxed chat over a cup of tea or coffee.
What can you expect?
- A friendly welcome: Come along to Allsort’d Café and meet other people who understand what it’s like to care for someone.
- Time to connect: Share experiences, have a chat or simply enjoy being around others in a relaxed setting.
- Tea, coffee and cakes: Treat yourself to something from the café, with refreshments available to purchase.
- Information and goody bags: The organisers are hoping to have information and goody bags from Leonardo Carer Support available for carers to take away, subject to confirmation.
- Discover local support: The Focus Centre is a community wellbeing hub, with a Welcome Lounge where friendly staff and volunteers can help people find local services and support.

This coffee morning is for anyone who provides unpaid care or support to a family member, friend or neighbour in Swanage, Purbeck and the surrounding area.
Whether you’re new to caring, have been caring for years or aren’t sure if you’re a carer, you’re welcome to come along.
