We’re looking for 10 people with lived experience of Dorset’s geography, demography and diversity to join the Our Dorset Public Engagement Group (PEG).
‘Our Dorset’ is the county’s Integrated Care System, a partnership of local NHS organisations, Public Health Dorset, local councils, and the Voluntary Sector. Partner organisations are working together to improve health and care across the county and want to ensure that they engage with local communities and provide opportunities for people to be involved.
The key role of Our Dorset Public Engagement Group is to provide advice, guidance and challenge on public engagement that is being planned to ensure that Dorset informs and involves local people in developing and delivering future health and care services. Commenting on the work of the PEG, Ian Gall, the group Chair, said, “Our members come from a rich variety of backgrounds and provide invaluable feedback and a platform for critical thinking about new projects and services. We’re committed to ensuring that the public and patient voice continues to be at the heart of Dorset’s health and care planning and provision.”
Anyone interested in becoming a member can find out more and read the PEG Terms of Reference.

People without online access can obtain paper copies of the information and form by calling 01202 541946.
