A brand new website for Dorset’s Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is now up and running.
Designed by Dorset HealthCare in partnership with young service users and their families, it replaces the old ‘Where’s Your Head At?’ site, providing a one-stop-shop for anyone needing help and advice with stress, anxiety, eating disorders and other mental health issues.
It is much easier to use and navigate, is mobile-friendly, and features a lot more content – including videos developed by people with lived experience of these problems.
As well as signposting young people to the support they might need, there are also sections aimed at parents and carers, as well as health/social care professionals (including how to make a referral to CAMHS), plus details of what the service can provide.
There is also a feedback form where you can give your views on the site and how it could be improved.
