The Think Big team has picked up three accolades at the 2022 Patient Experience Network National Awards ceremony for its work on the outpatient assessment clinics at Beales and South Walks House. The clinics are a great example of how organisations from across the integrated care system have come together to improve services for the people of Dorset.

The outpatient assessment clinics won in the following three categories: ‘Partnership working to improve the experience’, ‘Integration and improving social care’, and ‘Integration and continuity of care’.

Jonathan Wright, head of patient access for University Hospitals Dorset, said: “It has been a huge privilege to represent the Outpatient Assessment Clinic’s ‘Think Big’ team at the Patient Experience Network National Awards this year and it is absolutely amazing that the team, the trusts involved, including Dorset Country Hospital along with University Hospitals Dorset, and the Dorset ICS have been recognised for their achievements for innovation in elective recovery.

A huge congratulations to all the staff, volunteers and students involved in the project for this amazing achievement.
