You care. We care. Let’s celebrate you.
Are you looking after someone close to you? You might not call yourself a carer, but if you support a friend or family member with illness, disability, mental health needs, frailty, or substance use, that’s exactly what you are. And this week is for you.
Carers Week is a chance to recognise everything you do, every day. It shines a light on the challenges carers face, while helping more people find the support they need. Throughout the week, organisations supporting carers across Dorset have come together to plan a programme of events and activities for carers to get involved in.

What’s on
There are FREE events happening across Dorset in and around Carers Week, and you are warmly invited. Some events are in person and some are online, so you can choose what feels right.
See what carers have said about previous events we have run:
“Thank you so much for all your advice and support. I am just at the start of my journey and today has been so helpful. Thank you!”
